File Manager in Website Hosting
The File Manager tool, which is part of our in-house developed Hepsia CP, will permit you to administer all of the files that you upload to your website hosting account effortlessly. You may move files and entire folders by dragging-and-dropping them inside the account. You may upload content in the same way - pick a file/folder on your PC and drag it to your web browser in which the File Manager is loaded. By right-clicking a file or a folder within your account, you can also access context menus with more advanced options - you'll be able to set up or to unpack an archive, to set up a password-protected area, to change the UNIX permissions using a web interface or to edit the content with a number of editors without ever leaving the Control Panel – a plain text editor, a code editor or an HTML editor. We have also included help articles and video tutorials, which you can access right from the File Manager to learn more about its functions.
File Manager in Semi-dedicated Servers
The File Manager tool, which is an integral part of our custom Hepsia website hosting Control Panel, shall give you complete control over your web content and will remove the need of using third-party apps. If you wish to upload a file to your semi-dedicated server account, you will simply need to drag-and-drop it, because the File Manager supports uploads, so you will not have to use an FTP client anymore. You'll also be able to relocate folders and files in the account just as easily and their structure shall be kept the same. If you'd like to change the permissions of any file, to create a password-protected area for a domain name or a subdomain or to modify a file using a plain text or an HTML editor, you'll simply need to use the right-click, given that you could access all these features from right-click context menus - you’ll feel as though you’re working on your home computer. To make handling your content much easier, you will be able to organize it in ascending or descending order by size, name or last modified date.
